Aqueduct – An architectural scarf

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021

This architectural scarf is crocheted with alternating sections of short rows to create “pillars” that jut out from the side. The scarf is then turned 90° and a lengthwise edging is added that connects them all. The spaces created from the pillars along with the eyelet rows create a geometric, masculine pattern reminiscent of the ancient Roman aqueducts that looks great in a dark heathered or tweed yarn.
